AutoAZ – Battery Deposit Fee Page

When selling batteries, a deposit fee of 7.5 EUR is charged in accordance with legal regulations. The return of used batteries is subject to legal and environmental requirements. Therefore, we recommend that batteries purchased from us but no longer in use be returned or handed in as follows:

1. Send the battery back to our logistics center at the following address: 1097 Budapest, Timót utca 5. The item can be returned in person or sent back via courier service at your own expense.

2. Hand in the battery at a workshop, store, central collection point, or recycling yard.
   Please note: The €7.50 deposit will not be refunded in cash, but will be provided in the form of a voucher, which can be used for your next battery purchase.
   You will receive a confirmation document, which you can send to us at cs@autoaz.de together with your name and order ID as a clear photo or scan.
   After verification, you will receive a €7.50 voucher for your next battery purchase.

How is the deposit refunded after successful identification and inspection?

After successful identification and inspection, we provide a €7.50 voucher that can be used for your next battery purchase.

What happens if the identification and inspection are negative?

You will receive a notification informing you that the voucher cannot be issued.
The inspected product will be stored for 2 months – upon request, we can return it to you, with shipping costs borne by the customer.
After 2 months of storage, the product will be properly disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations.
